ये फोटो यूरोप के एक पेंटर "मुरीलो" ने बनाया है! यूरोप के एक देश मे एक आदमी को पाव रोटी चुराने के इल्ज़ाम में भूखे मरने की सजा मिली,उसे एक जेल मे बंद किया गया, सजा ऐसी थी की जब तक उसकी मौत नही हो जाती तब तक उसे भूखा रखा जाय! 

उसकी बेटी ने अपने पिता से मिलने के लिये सरकार से अनुरोध किया कि वह हर रोज अपने पिता से मिलेगी! उसे मिलने की इजाजत दे दी गयी, मिलने से पहले उसकी तलाशी ली जाती कि वह कोई खाने का सामान न ले जा सके।उसे अपने पिता की हालत देखी नही गयी! 

वो अपने पिता को जिंदा रखने के लिये अपना दूध पिलाने लगी! जब कई दिन बीत जाने पर भी वो आदमी नही मरा तो पहरेदारों को शक हो गया और उन्होंने उस लड़की को अपने पिता को अपना दुध पिलाते पकड़ लिया, उस पर मुकदमा चला, और सरकार ने कानून से हटकर भावनात्मक फैसला सुनाया, उन दोनो को रिहा कर दिया गया।
